Autumn is around the corner. The days are growing shorter, and the plants have begun their descent into winter dormancy. As the saying goes, the veil between worlds grows thin. Folklore from around the world speaks of the increased activity of the spirit world as the nights deepen and darken.
Between that and the fact that so many of us actively work to connect with the spirit world during the Fall, it’ s no wonder that this time of year hits a little different.
I have always been sensitive to the presence of spirits, so much so that it has become the core of how I make my living. In that work, I very much enjoy serving as a medium for those who want to connect with deceased loved ones and supporting people who live or work in spirited locations in navigating those environments. My favorite thing, however, is teaching people how to talk to spirits on their own.
