Here’ s what it’ s not:
• A critical, judging, or fear-based voice
• A spiral of overthinking
• A demand to explain or justify itself
• A feeling that you must compete to keep up, or that you aren’ t good enough
Your intuition is loving, clear, and aligned with your highest good. It usually doesn’ t scream for attention— it often whispers. Which is why it helps to quiet your mind enough to tap into it.

The second-guessing trap

The trouble starts when our thinking brain butts in with logic, data, and a tendency to overanalyze. You get that illuminating intuitive nudge, and then the mental chatter kicks in:
“ But how do you know?”““ Am I making this up?”“ That’ s just your imagination.”
And suddenly, you’ ve talked yourself out of your deepest truth.
In the gas station story, my intuition gave me a simple message:“ Skip it.”
Then my intellect added unnecessary complexity:“ But it’ s empty! What’ s the problem?”
Just like that, my divine guidance was overridden.

So how do you start trusting it?

Accessing your inner guidance is a relationship— one that you build through practice, presence, and playfulness. Like learning a new language, the more you use it, the more fluent you become.
Here’ s a 6-step practice to help you strengthen your intuitive relationship with yourself:

6 Simple Ways to Turn up Your Intuition

1. Ground Yourself
The world is an ungrounded place, but you can be grounded in the world. Connect with your body by saying‘ hello’ to it. Wiggle your toes and deeply exhale. Take a walk or be in nature. Step away from screens, and allow yourself to be present in your body. Being grounded gives you greater access to all your senses, including your sixth sense!
