A settled nervous system helps the body heal, and the mind function more easily. During a session, you may notice your breathing even out or you may take a“ Reiki nap,” which helps rebalance your system.
With a settled system, your shoulders drop, your tongue relaxes, and your body feels safer and less alert.
Reiki Can Quiet and Clear the Mind
This settling lets you move from mind to body. Calm stillness can quiet scattered thoughts and improve focus, making decision-making feel less rushed and more centered. Your focus can be singular.
When I say focusing on one thing, I don’ t mean the overthinking and spinning of the wheel, thinking that might plague you before a Reiki session. I mean thinking one thing through and then moving on to the next.
