It does not mean excusing someone’ s behavior, but it does mean recognizing that all humans have flaws, struggles, and limitations— including ourselves. recognize that he, too, had wounds and insecurities. This perspective did not erase my hurt, but it softened the anger and made space for healing.
Consider the person who hurt you as a flawed but complex human being. Recognizing this perspective can soften anger and open the path to healing.
