The simple shift that changes everything
Rather than obsessing over what you should take away, start by giving your body more of what it genuinely needs.
Instead of asking:“ What do I need to stop eating or cut out?”
Try asking:“ What can I add in that will help my body thrive?”
Maybe that’ s more water. More protein. More colorful vegetables. More fiber. More sleep. More movement. More laughter.
More time outside. More connection. More moments that help your nervous system feel safe instead of stressed.
Notice that not everything on this list is food. Because nourishing yourself isn’ t only about what you eat. It’ s also about how you care for your body, your mind, and your nervous system.
When your body is genuinely nourished, many of the foods you once felt powerless around naturally lose some of their pull. Not because you’ re forcing yourself to avoid them, but because you aren’ t constantly trying to fill a deficit. When you’ re full and satisfied, you’ re less likely to keep searching for something else to fill what’ s been missing.
Adding in begins to crowd out what no longer serves you.
