For so many of the women I work with— smart, capable, deeply intuitive women— there’ s an unspoken pressure to“ hold it all together.” They’ re used to being the strong one, the responsible one, the one others rely on.
And while there’ s pride in that strength, it often comes with exhaustion. With disconnection. With a quiet ache to just breathe without guilt.
One of the most radical shifts we can make is to give ourselves permission to rest— not as a reward, but as a requirement for living well. Not just physical rest, but emotional and spiritual rest too. A pause that allows us to reset, release, and realign with what truly matter
Stillness isn’ t something we’ re taught to trust. We fear that if we stop, everything might fall apart— or worse, that we’ ll fall apart. But here’ s what I’ ve come to understand: stillness is not stagnation. It’ s a return to self. It’ s a clearing of space so we can hear what our deeper wisdom is trying to say.
