Aspire Magazine: Inspiration for a Woman's Soul.(TM) Oct/Nov 2017 Aspire Mag Full Issue: Feminine Wisdo | Page 23

It was my very first personal development book. I inhaled every word. It became my trail guide to a new path. A path of hope, happiness, and possibility. It was the catalyst that put me on the spiritual and personal development path. Louise became my mentor and teacher and taught me, through her words, books, and mission, what self- love was and how powerful our thoughts are. As my path unfolded, in 2006, I was led to start Aspire Magazine. I birthed the vision in my heart to publish a magazine that inspired women to live from the inside out and reminded them of the truth of who they are. In 2010, I founded Inspired Living Publishing, a boutique hybrid publishing company dedicated to publishing uplifting and inspiring books for women, and by women. Today, eleven years later, I still pinch myself that because of Louise’s influence in my life I’ve found my passion, purpose, and joy. It’s been an honor to have Louise grace the cover of Aspire Magazine twice in the past, and to have featured many of Hay House authors over the years. Meeting my spiritual mentor was a day I’ll never forget. I’ll never forget the day in 2010 that I received the invitation to attend Louise’s intimate New York book signing. Life had come full circle. I grabbed a friend, Donna Cravotta, and headed to the big city. It was a Who’s Who of personal development royalty, including Cheryl Richardson, Reid Tracy, Brian Weiss among others. As the event was winding down, I gave Louise with a goodbye hug. I thanked her for being such an influence in my life, and shared that she was the catalyst that led me to birth Aspire Magazine and Inspired Living Publishing. Fully present as always, Louise held my hands in hers, looked me straight in the eye, and whispered …. “Keep shining your light, Linda. The world needs your message.” I will, Louise. I will. Thank you for being such a light in my life and the worlds. 23 Louise became my mentor and teacher and taught me, through her words, books, and mission, what self- love was, and how powerful our thoughts are.
