This practice will often shed light on
blocks that you don’t recognize in
your conscious mind. Don’t try too
hard, just let it flow!
3. Grounding
This is my favorite tool. Go outside and
put your bare feet in the grass or the dirt
and feel the roots from the soles of your
feet burrow deep into the earth. Use this
connection to focus the energy flowing from
the earth to you. Feel the Terra Firma and
know that your connection to earth and spirit
is stronger than any block you are facing.
PRACTICE IDEA: Walk barefoot in the
grass or in the winter (or if you live
in a city) have a potted plant that you
can fluff the soil and touch the leaves.

Integrate a natural element into your
daily practice. I use nature sounds
everyday. Nature is truly healing.
4. Meditation
There are various ways to meditate; all
of them allow communication among the
levels of consciousness and both sides of
your brain. Meditation is the tool that allows
you to access resolutions and ideas that
aren’t flowing through your conscious mind.
Relaxing into meditation will allow you
recognize and clear the energy that is not
serving your highest self.
PRACTICE IDEA: Meditate for a few
minutes and don’t be worried about
clearing your mind. Just sit quietly
and let your higher self do the work.
