What surprised me wasn’ t her reaction— it was mine afterward.
Hours later, my mind kept replaying the conversation. I don’ t love conflict, and the whole experience stirred up old stories about what I“ should” have said or done differently. Even though the moment had passed, my body reacted as if it was still happening— my heartbeat sped up, my energy dropped, my stomach tightened.

Once you see this, everything shifts.
You begin to understand where your real power lives. are old stories, past fears, or interpretations that don’ t match current reality.

And I always smile gently when I hear that, because here’ s the truth— it’ s not supposed to.
Your mind produces thoughts the same way your heart beats and your lungs breathe. It’ s simply what it does. The problem isn’ t that your mind is active. The problem is what we’ ve been taught— or not taught— about how to relate to that activity.
Your mind assigns meaning instantly— often without your awareness— and your body responds as if that meaning is true. But not every thought is truth. Sometimes thoughts
