The material world continually broadcasts the illusion of power. We are socialized to believe that power lies in such things as physical force, money and positions of influence. Many of our beliefs about power are influenced by cultural conditioning and peer pressure.

Our ability to create the life we desire, how much money we have and the influence we can exert over others is often linked to our sense of power.
