Most of us have been conditioned to think of leadership as something reserved for the few, the bold, the credentialed, the ones at the front of the room.
But leadership is simply influence and Human Design tells us that every one of us is designed to influence and to make a meaningful contribution to the world. The difference is that we are each designed to do it in an entirely different way.
If you have ever recommended a book to a colleague, persuaded someone to see a situation from a new angle, or inspired a friend to take a step they were afraid to take, you have influenced. You have led.
The question is not whether you have the capacity for leadership. The question is whether you are expressing it in the way you are designed to so you can have the impact you were meant for.
