1. Practice Mindfulness

Mindfulness is the practice of being fully present in the moment, and it can be a gamechanger for your creative endeavors. By incorporating mindfulness into your creative process, you can reduce stress, increase focus, and connect more deeply with your artistic expression.
How to do it:
• Before starting your creative work, take a few moments to center yourself with deep breathing exercises or a short meditation.
• As you create, pay attention to your thoughts, feelings, and bodily sensations without judgment.
• Allow yourself to be fully immersed in the act of creation, letting go of any distractions or self-criticism.

2. Use Art as Therapy

Art therapy is a form of expressive therapy that uses the creative process to improve mental health and well-being. Even if you’ re not working with a professional art therapist, you can still use your art as a form of selftherapy.
How to do it:
• Set an intention for your creative session, such as exploring a particular emotion or processing a recent experience.
• Choose a medium that resonates with you, whether it’ s painting, drawing, writing, or another form of art.
• Allow yourself to freely express your thoughts and feelings through your art, without worrying about the final product.
