MINDFULNESS IN THE NEW YEAR: KEEPING IT SIMPLE
So, how do you bring mindfulness with you into daily life in 2026? Start with small, mindful moves daily. Here are some ideas:
1. Morning Breath & Intention Setting. Before you reach for your phone, pause and take three slow, deliberate breaths deep into the belly. Then set an intention for the day – declare how you want to show up for the day or how the day will go. Set the tone before you let the world in.

2. Mindful Pause. Choose one daily activity— maybe showering, drinking tea, or standing outside in the sun. For those few minutes, do it with your full attention and all of your senses engaged. Feel the warmth, notice the scents, hear the sounds.
3. Evening Appreciation & Celebration. Before bed, jot down at least one thing that brought you joy or feelings of gratitude. It might be as simple as laughter with a friend or witnessing the sunrise.
Feel free to create your own, but keep it small and simple. Choose just two or three mindful moments, and stick to practices that take no more than two-five minutes. This is mindfulness made simple— and it works when practiced consistently over time.
