The moment I first became aware of this power was in January1979, when I attended a keynote address by self-help legend Bob Proctor. Sitting in the audience that evening, I heard Bob share ideas that completely shifted my perspective.
He spoke with conviction, saying,“ If you can hold it in your mind, you can hold it in your hand.” He quoted authors like Vernon Howard, emphasizing,“ You cannot escape from a prison if you don’ t know you’ re in one.” These were concepts I had never encountered before— messages so powerful and transformative that they stirred something deep within me.

I realized that Bob Proctor had an understanding of life that I did not, and if I truly wanted to escape the emotional pain I was experiencing, I needed to learn from him.
