• Take a few deep breaths and open your eyes. Grab your pen and paper and write down all the action steps you envisioned yourself taking on the path to ultimate success. Don’ t let your ego get involved; instead, listen to your inner wisdom. See the chain of events as though it has already happened.
• Set goals around each of the action steps you identified. If the steps seem large or overwhelming, break them down into smaller steps that you can manage more easily.
• Now, assign timelines to your goals. Make them reasonable, so you don’ t sabotage your own success with unrealistic expectations— but don’ t space them too far apart, either. You want to create a sense of motion and progress.

T stands for the acceptable minimum you are willing to do toward completing this goal. e“ A” in the AIM gets you started, and it is better than doing nothing.

stands for what is the middle or a realistic“ stretch goal” that you can reach within a set time frame. When setting the realistic stretch goal, again the key is to make it time-oriented, so as to provide you both a measurable checkpoint, and also to provide you a sense of accomplishment toward reaching your goal.
stands for the specific step-by-step processes on how you will reach your goal.
stands for measurable checkpoints( like your stretch goal) which assist you to quantify you have completed a specific step.
stands for achievable steps in the plan you are constructing.
stands for reasonable expectations that what you are saying you are going to be able to do can be done at the current time.
stands for time— as in the specific dates and times by which you will complete each step in the process.
