confident, energetic leader she is the show-

HOW TO START WORKING
WITH THE TAROT QUEENS
The Queen of Cups
is blessed with the
qualities of mindfulness,
emotional
intelligence
and compassion. Known
for her sensitivity, keen
intuition and ability to go
with the flow, she brings
warmth and the energy of
nurturing to all she does. First, get yourself a tarot deck and a journal.
I recommend using the Rider-Waite-Smith
Tarot or a deck based on the work or Arthur
Edward Waite and Pamela Colman Smith.
This includes a wide variety of decks.
The Queen of Cups is connected to the
Water signs of Cancer, Scorpio and Pisces.
Overseeing the world of emotions, feelings
and intuition, she may access transformation
in her life and the lives of others through
meditation, dream work, practicing healing
arts or using her psychic abilities. There are several ways to choose. You
could look at the cards and determine
which image you like the best. You could
review the descriptions of each queen and
decide which seems most like you. You
could choose the queen that represents
your zodiac sign element or the queen who
embodies the qualities you want to bring into
your life.
The
Queen
of
Pentacles
is
the
creatrix of prosperity
and security. Known for
her practical ability to
methodically bring all of
her dreams into reality,
she easily balances
savoring the pleasures
of today while keeping
an eye on the future.
The Queen of Pentacles is connected
to the Earth signs of Taurus, Virgo and
Capricorn. Managing the realm of beauty,
pleasure and financial security, she easily
manifests wealth and abundance and could
perhaps use her business acumen and
financial resources serving on the board of a
charitable organization or protecting wildlife
and our planet.

HOW TO CHOOSE WHICH
QUEEN TO START WITH
If you want to truly leave it up to divine
inspiration, you could try this daily activity
that I call the “Queen for The Day” reading.
1. Remove the 4 Tarot Queens from
your deck.
2. Shuffle them until you feel ready.
3. Then choose one card at random. This
is your “Queen for The Day” card.
4. Record your first impression of your
“Queen for The Day” card in your
journal.
5. Relax and go about your day.
